Since 1998, IICF has hosted its Week of Giving, a volunteer initiative that brings the insurance industry together through acts of service that benefit community charities and nonprofit organizations. Through the years, IICF's Week of Giving has welcomed 110,000 volunteers who have contributed more than 300,000 hours of volunteer service to nonprofits in the communities where they live and work. Happening this year from Oct.12-19, insurance companies, reinsurance companies, agents and brokers, and strategic partners of the industry will collaborate to support programs in the areas of education, children at risk, early literacy, homelessness, food insecurity, disaster preparedness, environmental responsibility, veterans, health and safety and more. Last year's Week of Giving was a record-setting event that featured 11,270 volunteers from 243 cities and 135 companies. View photo highlights from the 2018 Week of Giving in the gallery above. Each of IICF's five divisions: Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Western and United Kingdom will host different events in support of their charities of choice.
