Transcom Solutions promoted Ryan Bechtold to executive vice president. Bechtold has served as Transcom Solutions' director of operations and a managing partner since 2015. Louis Hobson has joined Chubb as senior vice president of flood insurance for its North America operations. Prior to joining Chubb, he served in a variety of senior leadership positions, including CEO of National Flood Services. ChronWell added Melinda Hayes to its advisory team. In 1999, Hayes founded the nurse case management company M Hayes after spending 16 years managing healthcare branches for Crawford & Company. Adam Kagan has been named chief business officer at Tensorflight. During the course of his career, Kagan held senior management positions with Marsh, CRC, FM Global and RiskMatch. QBE North America appointed Charles Cygal head of surety. He brings almost 20 years of experience in surety and joins from Ironshore Insurance Services, where he was the vice president/director of surety, political risk and trade credit for close to a decade. Eric Wirkus has been promoted to president at XS Brokers. His roles have included growing and developing business as well as fostering relationships in his 11 years at XS Brokers. Roy Caswell has joined The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers as executive vice president, director of information technology. For the past 19 years, he has held various IT leadership positions at several insurance firms including Hull & Company, Marsh and IOA. The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers also welcomed Megvarran Lalsa as chief financial officer. He brings 20 years of experience in accounting and finance from his previous employment at Venbrook Group, SCAN Health Plan, Cardinal Health and others. Canal Insurance Company's board of directors approved the addition of John Rzepinski to its senior leadership team as senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer. Rzepinski most recently served as the chief financial officer of CapSpecialty, a role he held since 2013. Manoj Gupta has been appointed chief operating officer at TigerRisk Partners LLC. Prior to joining TigerRisk, Gupta was president of Third Point Reinsurance Ltd.'s U.S. subsidiary. Old Republic International Corporation's (ORI) board of directors has appointed Aaron Jacoby senior vice president, corporate development & finance. Jacoby joins ORI's senior executive ranks on the strengths of a career spanning 28 years, of which the last 17 years were dedicated to RLI Corporation. Tony Costa has been promoted to the position of director of business development at Jackson Sumner & Associates (JSA). He joined JSA in May 2014 as a P&C underwriter. Trak Global Group appointed Nino Tarantino CEO of IMS (Americas). Most recently, Tarantino was the CEO of Octo Telematics North America. Brad W. Gabbard has been appointed senior vice president to Risk Strategies' national health care practice. Most recently, he was an executive vice president and health care practice leader for Willis Towers Watson's Columbus, Ohio, office. The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America installed Correll Insurance Group's Jon Jensen as 2019-2020 Big "I" chairman. Jensen has held numerous positions at the national level for the Big "I", including chairman of InsurPac and the Government Affairs Committee. Kim Sellers has been appointed ClearPath Mutual Insurance Company's first production underwriter. Mary Senff has been promoted to vice president of company development at Omaha National. She previously worked as the learning and development manager at a national workers' compensation company. Keenan announced that Troy Butzlaff has joined its municipalities practice team as a consulting senior advisor. He has more than 29 years of experience in city management, working for various cities in California. Kimberly Vincent has been promoted to account executive within RT Specialty LLC's national environmental and construction professional liability practice. Over the past five years with the ECP team, Vincent has worked with senior staff to identify and develop best-possible risk management strategies for the business's base of agents, brokers and clients. The Spencer Educational Foundation announced the addition of Megan Miller as the Foundation's executive director. Most recently, Miller was the executive director for The Sasamani Foundation, where she managed an international team, developed strategic and fundraising plans and directed all aspects of its financial performance and viability. Paul Elliott has joined Valent Group's Mobile, Ala., office, where he will partner with the current team to lead expansion efforts in the region. AXIS Insurance announced that Chief Claims Officer David Hayward will retire in March 2020 and will be succeeded by Michael Baumel. Clive Edwards has been appointed CEO of Aspen Insurance U.K. Limited (AIUK) and Aspen Managing Agency Limited, subject to regulatory approval. With this appointment, Edwards will relinquish his role as co-chief underwriting officer of AIUK. Hearsay Systems announced the appointment of Alex Falls as vice president of product. Falls comes to Hearsay from Guidewire Software Inc., most recently serving as vice president of product management. Sabrina Mitchell has been named claims assistant vice president, Southeast region for PMA Companies Insurance Group.
