Nate Hughes has joined Holmes Murphy as account executive to the company's Minneapolis property casualty team. Hughes joins Holmes Murphy through the merger with Cobb Strecker Dunphy & Zimmermann, where he was a market leader focused on commercial and professional liability. Landon O'Hara has been appointed Southwest regional executive in the U.S. for Hiscox. Before joining Hiscox, O'Hara served as director at RPX Insurance Services. Liberty Specialty Markets has promoted Nicholas Garside to the role of head of Bermuda property. He joined Ironshore Bermuda as senior vice president in 2018 prior to its rebrand to Liberty Specialty Markets. Chris Lafond has been appointed CEO at Insurity Inc. Laford has been part of the Insurity executive team since 2017, previously serving as the company's chief financial officer. The Hilb Group LLC hired property & casualty insurance specialist Ellen Bohn Gitlitz and acquired her book of business.
