HERE Technologies announced a partnership with CarVi Inc. to provide better insights into driver behavior, improve driver safety and help with driver coaching. CarVi is using HERE Location Services to combine their telematics data with real-world location intelligence to create contextual insights about driver behavior, and in turn, create a coaching mechanism for drivers.

Slice Labs Inc. has entered into a proof-of-value contract with Sompo Holdings Asia. SOMPO will license the Slice Insurance Cloud Services platform to quickly deploy and test new digital insurance products.

Farmers Mutual Hall Insurance Company of Iowa (FMH), in collaboration with FindBob, announced the launch of FMH Bridge, a new web-based agency support tool designed to help identify growth opportunities for FMH agents. FMH Bridge is powered by FindBob, a tech startup company centered around providing solutions that allow for greater ease in agency growth and perpetuation.

GPS Insight announced a partnership with Netradyne to offer Driveri dash cams to their customers. The capabilities of the Driveri dash cam provide organizations with a much higher level of coaching information that includes positive feedback for their performance.

Tarheel Insurance announced that it will offer its workers’ compensation program via Appulate. By working with Appulate, Tarheel with offer an automated way for agents to submit and quote workers’ comp risks.

Illinois-based Pekin Insurance successfully deployed Guidewire Software Inc.’s InsurancePlatform to modernize its infrastructure and simplify processes for agents to do business and enable growth. Since Pekin initially deployed InsurancePlatform in February 2018 to its personal auto line of business in the state of Arizona, it has deployed InsurancePlatform to its personal auto and home, business owners policy and workers’ compensation lines of business in all of the states where it does business.
