Cross Insurance promoted David Branning to vice president and branch manager after announcing the closing and merger of Cross Insurance's Exeter, N.H,. and Somersworth, N.H., offices into a larger more centrally located office in Portsmouth, N.H. Branning joined Cross Insurance in 2016 as an account executive and became branch manager of Somersworth, N.H., and Exeter, N.H., in 2017. Megan McConnell has been appointed chief underwriting officer in the United States for international specialist insurer Hiscox. She most recently served as the director of underwriting for Hiscox Re & ILS. Chubb Limited appointed Juan Luis Ortega executive vice president, Chubb Group and president, overseas general insurance.
