Google was unable last week to convince a judge to toss out class action allegations claiming the company discriminates against job applicants based on their conservative beliefs and status as a racial majority within the tech giant.
Presiding Judge Brian C. Walsh of the Superior Court of Santa Clara County denied Google's request for demurrer on the class action status Friday. In his tentative ruling, Walsh said Google failed to show there is "no reasonable possibility" to identify a class made up of people with shared political ideologies.
