The Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company (HSB), part of Munich Re, has created an alliance with CNA to offer HSB’s IoT technology solutions to CNA’s small and mid-size commercial property policyholders to help prevent or reduce property damage and business interruption loss. Utilizing proprietary sensors and customized algorithms, HSB IoT technology is a commercial-strength, turnkey package of hardware and software, data analytics, back-end operations, targeted alerts and 24/7 monitoring supporting.

CSAA Insurance Group, an AAA insurer, and Owlcam announced a partnership using Owlcam’s video security and safety service to improve the claims experience for customers. Through the partnership, CSAA Insurance Group customers can use Owlcam’s real-time video upload capabilities to easily report incidents such as crashes and break-ins to help expedite claims.

Ease, an HR and benefits software solution for SMBs, insurance brokers and insurance carriers, partnered with Beam Dental, a provider of dental benefits. As an EaseConnect+ partner, Ease will fully setup and maintain this connection for brokers, as well as safely and securely submit enrollment information, adds, terms and changes directly to Beam.

Insurity Inc., an insurance platform provider that offers policy, billing, claims, data analytics and digital enablement, announced that HAI Group is in production with Policy Decisions Evolution (PDE), Billing Decisions and DataHouse for its commercial output policy and commercial auto lines of business. The integration with DataHouse also provides HAI Group with enhanced reporting capabilities through better data capture and processing to enable real-time decision making.

Eos Venture Partners, an InsurTech venture capital fund that works with insurers and brokers, announced an enhanced collaboration with Marsh. As part of the agreement, Eos portfolio companies and Marsh will collaborate on sharing economy solutions by leveraging Marsh’s new Bluestream platform, a cloud-based digital broker platform designed to provide a new, streamlined way for Marsh’s Affinity clients to offer insurance products and services to their customers, contractors and employees.

Blue Zebra Insurance has deployed Xceedance‘s MGA Agility Suite to modernize policy lifecycle management processes. The MGA Agility Suite incorporates on-demand insurance operations services from Xceedance to boost dexterity and responsiveness in managing dynamic policyholder requirements.
