Kirt Walker has been named CEO-elect of Nationwide. Walker, who has been with the Nationwide family of companies for 33 years, has served as the president and chief operating officer of Nationwide’s financial services business lines since 2009.
HUB International Limited hired property & casualty insurance specialist Jon Chasteen and acquired his book of business. He will join the HUB South region, bringing more than 15 years of experience designing, placing and managing complex insurance and risk management programs.
Thomas Noh has been named the new chief financial officer of the Farmers Insurance Exchanges, three reciprocal insurers (Farmers Insurance Exchange, Fire Insurance Exchange and Truck Insurance Exchange) owned by their policyholders. Over his 23-year career with Farmers, Noh has held a number of positions in Finance, his most recent position being head of claims analytics and exchange finance strategy.
AAdvantage Insurance Group hired Amy Glowacki as a commercial marketer. Prior to joining the agency, she worked at an Illinois insurance agency for two years working with commercial accounts.
Crawford & Company, an independent provider of claims management and outsourcing solutions to insurance companies and self-insured entities, has appointed Caroline Pritchard and Tenesha Frazier-Levett as global relationship leaders within the company’s global client development team. Prior to joining Crawford, Pritchard was the head of distribution and market management in the United Kingdom for Zurich Insurance Company. Frazier-Levett was most recently business development leader at Zurich North America.
Michael Aylward has been elected to serve as the new president of the American College of Coverage Counsel, an invitation-only, peer-reviewed association of the 300 leading practitioners of insurance coverage and bad faith law in the United States and Canada. Aylward is a partner in the Boston office of Morrison Mahoney LLP, where he chairs the firm’s complex insurance claims resolution group.
Atlas Insurance Management hired Spencer Caldwell as an account manager. Caldwell previously worked as a captive financial analyst for the North Carolina Department of Insurance.
Meredith Head has been appointed head of North American property catastrophe at Aspen Insurance Holdings Limited. She joins from Tokio Millennium Re where she was senior vice president, property catastrophe underwriting.
Blackboard Insurance announced that Uwe Schoberth will join the team to focus on market relationships and the company’s expanding go-to-market strategy. Schoberth joins Blackboard from QBE Group, where he served as global head of QBE Market Management since the beginning of 2019.
Agency Network Exchange LLC announced the following executive changes:
- Elizabeth Schenk has been appointed CEO
- Jocelyn Rineer has been promoted to senior vice president
