Days after announcing a change in leadership to its North American General Insurance operations, American International Group Inc. (AIG) announced another change in the same division: John Cusano has been appointed chief business & technology operations officer, effective July 1, 2019.
In this new role, Cusano will be responsible for enhancing the General Insurance division's business and technology infrastructure, as well as aligning end-to-end processes with established target operating models. His global portfolio includes General Insurance's Shared Services, Information Technology, Project Managemnet Office and Vendor Management operations.

|Past experience
Cusano joins AIG from Accenture, where he spent the majority of his career serving the insurance industry. He has held a number of leadership positions at Accenture including most recently overseeing its Global Insurance Business.
