KMRD Partners welcomed back Colin P. McPoyle in a new business development role. In this role, he will work to identify new business opportunities and develop relationships and strategies with organizations to reduce their cost of risk. Prior to rejoining KMRD Partners, McPoyle was a senior account manager at APogee Insurance Group.
Laura Edmonds has been added as the human resources and office manager for Jackson Sumner & Associates‘s leadership team. After two years working for Virginia Tech, she moved to Boone, N.C., and worked for eight years at an organization leading a marketing team.
Ametros promoted Nicole Sauk to chief financial officer. This is Sauk’s fourth promotion since she joined Ametros in 2014; most recently, she served as the senior vice president of finance and operations.
Melissa Enderby has been hired by Cavignac & Associates as an account manager within the firm’s small business unit. Prior to joining Cavignac & Associates, she served as an account manager for Benefit Pro Insurance in San Diego.
Medata, a medical cost containment technology company in workers’ compensation and auto liability lines, selected Brett J. Drexelius as executive vice president of growth. He most recently served as chief sales officer at Optum’s Workers’ Compensation and Auto No-Fault division.
Shannon Hau has been appointed Corporate Risk and Broking (CRB) leader for Willis Towers Watson‘s Georgia market. Prior to this appointment, Hau served as head of finance for CRB North America at Willis Towers Watson.
The International Union of Marine Insurance (IUMI) appointed Agnes Choi as a new additional Asia ambassador. Choi is the chair of promotion and external relations for the Hong Kong Maritime and Port Board, and a former IUMI executive committee member.
Andrew Hopper has joined Starr Insurance Companies as head of financial institutions for the United Kingdom and Europe. Prior to Starr, he was a senior client executive within the FinPro Practice at Marsh in London.
