Airbus Aerial and Swiss Re Corporate Solutions announced a collaboration on a service that aims to help companies efficiently identify flood risks and more accurately predict weather-related flood damage. Under the collaboration, Swiss Re Corporate Solutions’ flood assessment tool, FLOAT, will be powered by Airbus Aerial’s drone imagery and data. FLOAT helps companies assess the flood risks of plants and other facilities.

The Hilb Group has acquired New England-based 360 Corporate Benefit Advisors (360CBA). The transaction became effective on May 1, 2019. 360CBA is an employee benefits consulting firm providing insurance brokerage, administration and advisory services to businesses primarily in the Northeast. All of 360CBA’s employees, including Agency Leaders Paul Lambert, Sean Carney, Jason Jaworoski and Steve Nadeau, are joining THG and will continue to operate under their existing name.

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (AJG) announced the acquisition of Zionsville, Indiana-based Cairnstone Financial, LLC. Founded in 2010, Cairnstone Financial, LLC is a benefits consultant offering group health, life, wellness, retirement, disability and dental coverages and services to middle-market clients across the Midwestern United States. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

AJG also acquired Parsippany, N.J.-based RPA Insurance Services, LLC and Innovative Coverage Concepts, LLC. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed. RPA Insurance Services is an industry leader in providing insurance and risk management services to the Restaurant and Hospitality industry. They have developed proprietary loss prevention and claim management techniques to help their diverse client base control Total Cost of Risk and outperform industry loss averages.

All Risks, Ltd., an independent wholesale insurance broker, has expanded its QuickHome online quoting platform to include a residential flood product. All residential flood markets are non-admitted and A.M. Best “A-” or better rated carriers. This product is available in 31 states with a variety of coverage options for homeowners.

Agent Link, a marketing consulting firm based in Clearwater, Florida, is launching Top Producer Summit, a national conference for independent insurance agents and financial services professionals. The event is scheduled to take place on June 4, 2019 and the entire “virtual conference” will be delivered online.

Glatfelter Program Managers announced their new Workers’ Compensation program, now available in most states. Clients and agents will have access to a variety of resources including Glatfelter’s risk management team and online safety library, medical management services to help identify hazards and decrease spending, technology systems to analyze claim-based data, teams devoted to legal resolution and claims management tools.

Mackinaw Underwriters, Inc. announced that they are offering their Liquor Liability program via the Appulate Portal in Michigan, Illinois, Tennessee and Florida. Appulate offers independent insurance agents technology so that they can bridge data directly from their management systems. By working with Appulate, Mackinaw Underwriters, Inc. will offer an automated way for agents to submit and quote liquor liability risks.
