Last call for ACE Awards nominations!
It’s not too late to nominate an outstanding claims professional. Claims magazine is accepting entries through May 1st.
Insurance professionals deal with challenges day in and day out, usually with no recognition, but a lot of grief from policyholders. Many claims adjusters see their clients at the worst times of their lives, and work incredibly hard to pay the claim as quickly as possible so insureds can recover and get back to work, school or vacation, or rebuild after a catastrophe.
It isn’t glamorous work, but it is exceedingly important, which is why Claims magazine wants to recognize these unsung heroes.
Winners will be honored at the America’s Claims Executive conference (ACE) this June 24-26 in Las Vegas, Nev. Consider nominating outstanding colleagues for one of three awards:
- The Claims Luminary of the Year goes to an individual who has made major contributions to the industry and is generous in sharing that knowledge with colleagues;
- The Customer Champion Award goes to a person who consistently goes above and beyond in the service provided to clients and policyholders, and is extraordinarily knowledgeable about the claims process; and
- The Trailblazer of the Year Award recognizes an insurance claims or carrier organization that has made significant contributions to the claims industry by introducing new products or innovations to improve the claims process for insurers and/or policyholders.
The deadline for nominations is May 1st. Information is available on the America’s Claims Executive event website. Please help honor the truly exceptional claims professionals in our industry by nominating your outstanding colleagues.
ACE also provides leaders with the opportunity to network and learn how to manage claims in an ever-changing environment. Every company must learn how to handle risks such as cybersecurity, increased automation, artificial intelligence and fraud. Finding and keeping good talent is another issue carriers must address as a significant number of knowledgeable adjusters, claims managers, risk managers and others retire or reduce their work commitments. All of these topics and more will be discussed during ACE.
