Risk managers, on the whole, tend to be highly educated, with more than 80% of them boasting college diplomas or master's degrees, according to reporting included in our 2019 Risk Manager Compensation Survey.

It follows that risk managers often tout educational advancement as well as the opportunity to specialize in a particular field among the attractive aspects of their career.
