A ‘bigger playing field’
Before joining AAIS, Sullivan was an account executive at Carpe Data, which provides data and data-related services to life insurance and property & casualty companies. From 2009 to 2017, he was an associate editor of Risk Information Inc., where he researched and wrote for the Auto Insurance Report and Property Insurance Report.
Speaking on the nonprofit and membership aspect of AAIS, Sullivan said he likes how it focuses on “helping the industry as a whole. It fits in with the insurance’s altruistic core value.”
“Coming out of the InsurTech world, what I’m excited about is joining a bigger playing field,” adds Sullivan.
AAIS serves the property & casualty insurance industry with insurance forms, rules and loss costs. More than 700 insurance carriers across the U.S. depend on AAIS for policy forms and manuals in commercial lines, inland marine, farm and ag business lines and personal lines.
