Hexaware Technologies, an automation-led provider of information technology, business process outsourcing and consulting services, has joined Guidewire PartnerConnect as a select consulting partner. Hexaware has supported Guidewire customer success in the Asia Pacific and Europe, Middle East and Africa regions and offers localized solutions for insurers in these regions.

Roost has partnered with Montana-based Flathead Farm Mutual Insurance Company. In an agreement to build customer engagement and mitigate claims costs, Flathead Farm Mutual policyholders will be offered Roost smart sensors, including the Roost Smart Water Leak and Freeze Detector, the Roost Smart Battery and the new Roost Smart Garage Door Sensor.

Church Mutual Insurance Company has partnered with OneEvent Technologies, who will be installing OnePrevent Systems in selected churches and schools throughout the Midwest. Through its partnership, Church Mutual will provide customers with the latest technology and offering this Internet of Things solution through their CM Sensor program.

LeaseRunner, a web-based application that offers tenant screening and online leasing services for the rental market, has selected Assurant Inc. as the primary provider of renters’ insurance. The renters’ insurance product will be presented to landlords as they add new properties, as well as to residents during their lease application and payment process.

Assurely has selected ClarionDoor Inc.‘s Digital Distribution Suite to provide rating, issuance and forms management functionality as part of the company’s development of an application-free platform purchasing insurance.

Zurich North America has acquired 100% ownership of Sea Pine Technologies, a company specializing in innovative digital applications for the marketing of vehicle protection products. The closing took place on Jan. 31, 2019.

Euler Hermes Americas and C2FO have partnered to provide C2FO customers access to Single Invoice Cover. Single Invoice COver protects B2B companies from nonpayment, transaction by transaction, while optimizing end-to-end supply chains by extending the optimal credit terms to buyers.

Frank Medina, an insurance broker in Houston, has announced the launch of Insurance Agent Near Me, a free online tool that connects customers with reputable insurance agents in their vicinity. The tool uses a search algorithm based on users current IP address to determine which agents are nearby. Like a directory, it then lists only local agents with the product that customers search for.

Worldwide Rescue & Security Inc. and Generali Global Assistance have partnered to provide Identity Resolution services to members of affinity organizations and loyalty clubs.

IoT water intelligence company Phyn has partnered with PURE Insurance to offer the Phyn Plus to all members at a discount. Installed on a single location on the main water line, Phyn Plus protects and monitors a home’s entire plumbing system by automatically detecting water leaks and plumbing issues.

American National has selected Duck Creek Policy to replace its legacy P&C personal lines policy administration systems. The insurer sought to improve the distribution and management of its personal lines products in order to transform outdated workflows and processes, create better user experiences for its agents, and introduce or update products.

CyberScout has partnered with Pioneer Insurance & Surety Corp. and MSIG Mingtai Insurance Co. to deliver cyber insurance in Southeast Asia. The services will include multilingual 24/7 breach response, consumer cyber assistance, remote consulting and data forensic services to both individuals and small- and medium-sized businesses in Taiwan and the Philippines.

Triple+, a provider of IoT technology solutions for water leak damage prevention, has announced a pilot project with Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies. In the pilot project, GUARD will ofer new and existing customers Triple+ product lines at discounted prices.

Verisk has entered into an agreement with TrueMotion to offer integrated telematics solutions for insurers that combine TrueMotion’s mobile data with Verisk’s driving behavior analytics. As part of this agreement, Verisk will score driving behavior data to enable multiple use cases for insurers; this includes potential good-driver discounts, driver feedback and other forms of customer engagement.

Osceola Capital Management has acquired 360 Quote LLC.  360 Quote operates lead generation websites in the insurance segment, with a focus on auto insurance websites.

Chubb has partnered with Impact Forecasting, Aon’s catastrophe model developer, to develop a new terrorism risk model for Manhattan in New York City and other dense urban environments. The new model utilizes advanced computational fluid dynamics modeling techniques to simulate thousands of blast interactions with the surrounding three-dimensional building environment.
