PMA Companies has named Kara Thompson vice president and chief segment officer, specialty markets underwriting. She has been with PMA for 13 years in positions of increasing responsibility and most recently served as regional underwriting manager.
Jonathan Fletcher has been appointed chief technology officer (CTO) at specialist insurance provider CFC. He previously served as group CTO at Hiscox.
Hudson United Mortgage Services LLC announced that Sal Mangiameli will join the Hudson United Westchester branch as loan officer. Mangiameli has served in the real estate and mortgage industries for more than 20 years and specializes in renovation loans, FHA 203K and Fannie Mae Home Style Loans.
Melissa Mullin has been named vice president of operations at Franklin Insurance Adjusters Inc. Before this, Mullin was with ClaimsPages.com for 16 years where she held multiple positions.
The board of directors for Service American Indemnity Company (SAIC) and Service Lloyds Insurance Company has appointed Steve Collier as SAIC’s chief operating officer. He was most recently the vice president of underwriting and managing director for Service Lloyds Insurance Company.
Adam Saydlowski has been hired to support PartnerOne Environmental‘s new product offerings. Before this, he served as an underwriter for an environmental insurance carrier.
The Hanover Insurance Group Inc. has announced the following appointments:
- Steven M. Mills - president of the company’s excess and surplus business
- James H. Kawiecki - promoted to president of surety, responsible for both contract and commercial surety
- Jon Martin - vice president, distribution management, professional lines
- Christopher J. Zaneski - vice president, distribution management, specialty property and casualty lines
