Beazley and Marsh teamed up to launch a cyber insurance cover and breach response designed to protect U.S. manufacturers against ever-evolving cyber risks. The program Manufacturer’s First Response offers coverages tailored specifically to address cyber and operational risks faced by manufacturers, including supply chain interruption, invoice manipulation, technology disruption, and e-crime losses from fraud.

Zurich has acquired Sea Pine Technologies, a company specializing in innovative digital applications for the marketing of vehicle protection products. Zurich provides automotive Finance & Insurance (F&I) products and services in the United States. The acquisition is intended to expand Zurich’s automotive F&I capabilities and offerings to both auto dealers and car owners.

Euler Hermes Americas and C2FO launched a digital partnership to protect business trade by providing C2FO customers access to Single Invoice Cover. Single Invoice Cover protects B2B companies from non-payment, transaction by transaction while optimizing supply chains and extending optimal credit terms to buyers.

Neptune Flood, a data-driven flood insurance company, recently partnered with Hippo Insurance to provide Hippo home insurance customers with direct access to flood insurance with Neptune Flood online. The partnership creates a more seamless user experience as a one-stop-shop, boasting that customers would be able to shop and buy home and flood policies online in under four minutes. Neptune Flood launched in the fall of 2017 with technology that allows users to quote and buy flood insurance in under two minutes, removes the traditional waiting period and doesn’t require the standard elevation certificate. Hippo also boasts a 60-second online quote and four-minute policy binding process.

Steward Health Care, one of the nation’s largest private, for-profit health care networks, announced their new liability protection subsidiary, Titan Risk Retention Group (RRG). Titan RRG will offer professional liability coverage to physicians and health care professionals practicing in 48 of the 50 states, protecting them from volatile prices and reducing costs.

Periculum Associates Limited, a London based risk management advisory, announced the launch of PredictLens, a revolutionary cloud-based advanced analytics machine learning platform that predicts the probability and impact of risk events, such as technology outages, process failures, and supply chain disruptions.

Cyber insurer Coalition has released a full-spectrum GDPR coverage plan to ensure more hefty protection. This GDPR coverage will protect businesses against alleged violations and pay any resulting damages, regardless of a breach. Coalition’s policy respond with broad coverage for any resulting costs and liability, including GDPR violations, resulting from a security failure or data breach, and but also protect organizations against their failure to comply with broader GDPR enforcement actions.

Travelers released the second video in their “Unfinished Stories” series, honoring victims of distracted driving by imagining what might have been if the crash never occurred. The “Unfinished Stories” series is part of Travelers’ Every Second Matters campaign that works to promote awareness around the dangers of distracted driving, providing data on the latest trends, research and offers approaches to tackling this public health crisis.
