AM Best restructures organization with senior management changes
Among those in AM Best's strategic review and succession planning process: Larry Mayewski, Matthew Mosher and Greg Carter.
As part of its strategic review and succession planning process, AM Best will streamline the management of its business with the following transitions:
- Larry Mayewski, CEO and chairman of AM Best Rating Services in the U.S., will assume the position of CEO of AM Best’s European rating subsidiaries in London and Amsterdam, pending regulatory approval.
- Matthew Mosher, executive vice president and chief operating officer of AM Best Rating Services, will take on the responsibilities of CEO of AM Best’s AP subsidiaries in Hong Kong and Singapore, pending regulatory approval.
- Greg Carter, managing director of rating analytics, EMEA & AP, will be relocating to Asia to provide day-to-day analytical leadership in the AP region while retaining his responsibilities in London and the company’s new Amsterdam office in the Netherlands.
- Jose Ribeiro, managing director AP, will be leaving AM Best.
After thanking Sellek and Ribeiro for their service to the company, Mayewski, in a press release, said, “[Sellek] has also built strong management teams in our regional offices and I look forward to working with them directly as part of this transition.”
