Venture Programs joins Red Cross to provide new emergency safety services
The services are to include a new emergency app, along with discounts for American Red Cross services.
In an industry first, Venture Insurance Programs has partnered with the American Red Cross to provide policyholders with a range of new emergency preparedness and safety services, risk control resources, discounted training packages and more.
The first service Venture and the Red Cross will offer is an emergency preparedness app. The app will be able to inform users of the main contacts in an emergency situation and give them related preparedness tips and information. The app will also outline a procedure for action once the situation has concluded.
Disaster resources from prep to recovery
Venture policyholders will also gain access to a number of Red Cross services, such as discounted AED (automated external defibrillator) and CPR training, water safety training, First Aid training and more.
In addition, Venture and the American Red Cross announced they will be working on creating a series of risk management resources that will help policyholders throughout the entire event of a disaster, from emergency preparedness to managing the recovery process.
Venture Programs’ serves clients in niche industries, such as golf and country clubs, hotels, spas and fitness centers. Their new partnership is the first of its kind between an insurance program administrator and the American Red Cross. Venture representatives say the majority of these new resources will come at no extra cost to policyholders.
