Workers’ compensation specialist The MEMIC Group has promoted Dustin Greco to business segment leader. He joined the company in 2014 and assumed the role of a production underwriter.

Christopher Jeffrey has been promoted to account manager within RT Specialty‘s national environmental and construction professional liability practice. Jeffrey joined RT New Day in 2017 and was an intern at McConkey & Co. Insurance & Benefits before RT New Day.

The National Association of Insurance Commissioners members elected Florida Insurance Commissioner David Altmaier to fill the vacant position of the office of vice president, effective immediately. In addition to Commissioner Altmaier’s new role, he will remain in his capacity as Florida’s Insurance Commissioner.

Jason Bogart has been appointed CEO of Deep Customer Connections, specialists in property & casualty insurance carrier/agent relationship analytics. Previously, Bogart was the senior vice president of branch operations at EMC Insurance Companies.

Control Risks, in partnership with Hiscox Group, has appointed Dan Cahill to accelerate their product recall consultancy and insurance partnership. He joins as director, product risks and previously served with WorldAware and RQA.

Mathias Sommer has been named head of operations for Zurich Canada. Sommer has been leading the operations team as vice president of operations for commercial insurance Canada since September 2017.

EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants has announced the following appointments:

GuideOne Insurance has appointed Rob Huber senior vice president, sales & field operations. He joins GuideOne from CNA Financial Corporation where he served as senior vice president, zone officer for the Southern zone.

Henry C. Lombardi is assuming leadership of NFP‘s property & casualty business and will join its executive management committee. He is currently NFP’s executive vice president.

ChainThat, a specialist provider of blockchain solutions serving the insurance and reinsurance industry, has appointed Rebecca Oliver to the newly-created role of business development director. Oliver joins the company from Eurobase where she served as director of insurance.

Dianne Swanson has been hired as United Group Alliance‘s regional vice president for Ohio. Most recently, she served as the regional brokerage consultant for Nationwide Brokerage Solutions with a role in business development strategies for the Central Atlantic region.

Arthur J. Gallagher & Cohas named Melanie Jeannotte national president of Gallagher Benefit Services (Canada) Group Inc. Prior to her promotion, Jeannotte served as area president, Western Canada for Gallagher’s benefits & HR consulting practice.

Rone Baldwin has been appointed CEO of One Call, a provider of specialized healthcare solutions for the workers’ compensation industry. Most recently, he served as executive vice president of markets and insurance at Centene Corporation.

Custom House Risk Advisors has hired Jack Schwartz as a senior risk management consultant and Lee Procter as a risk management associate. Schwartz has worked in the risk management industry for over 12 years, holding positions such as vice president of risk management at AmeriFlood LLC. Previously, Protector has held both claims specialist and claims examiner positions at Amica Mutual Insurance.

Munich Reinsurance America Inc. has announced appointments to several newly created senior executive positions and the realignment of its executive leadership team for its reinsurance division:

Steven Guthart has been hired as president and chief marketing officer for SterlingRisk Insurance. He was most recently president – Brooklyn operations with HUB International Northeast Limited.

Lloyd’s has appointed David Duclos as non-executive chairman of Lloyd’s Global Network. His executive experience includes being CEO of QBE North America (2013-2016) and chief executive of XL Group’s global insurance operations (2008-2011).

David Reed has been appointed non-executive chairman of Coverys Managing Agency Limited, the Lloyd’s managing agent of Syndicates 1975, 1991, 3330 and 1110. He began his career in Lloyd’s in 1977 and is a fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
