SimpliSafe has been selected by Progressive Insurance as the official provider for Progressive Home Security by SimpliSafe. Customers who purchase a new SimpliSafe home security system through the Progressive website will receive a free bonus pack of SimpliSafe hazard sensors, which offers additional layers of protection against fire, water and extreme temperatures.

Geomni, a Verisk business, and DroneBasea global drone operations company, have announced a strategic alliance that adds DroneBases’s Pilot Network and API to Geomni’s fleet of fixed-wing aircraft to expand property inspections globally. Geomni customers are able to order a roof or property data packages that include the most up-to-date property condition via drone imagery.

Marsh, working in collaboration with Evident, has announced that it is developing the first blockchain-based verification solution for clients in the sharing and gig economies. When connected with Evident’s Identity Assurance Platform, the solution will digitize certificates of insurance into immutable records so that all permissioned parties can instantly verify information.

CNA has signed an agreement to use CyberCube’s cyber insurance analytics platform to supplement the insurer’s ability to underwrite, price and model cyber risk. CyberCube’s risk-modeling platform combines single risk underwriting and aggregation risk modeling to help insurers accurately measure the financial impact of emerging cyber risks.

Catastrophe modeling firm AIR Worldwide has announced that Arch Worldwide Insurance Group has selected Touchstone as its primary modeling solution to help catastrophe risk. In June 2018, Touchstone was updated to include enhancements that enable users to perform new analytics, customize the software, and improve and simplify user workflows.

QBE Insurance Group has partnered with global insurer and emerging cybersecurity management leader, Zeguro. Zeguro is an online platform which enables users to automate their cybersecurity processes, detect for and manage any cyber risks to their company, and improve mitigation through recommendations on better cyber management across people, processes and technology.

Roost has partnered with TM Insurance, a leading Icelandic insurance company. In an agreement, TM Insurance will offer a free Roost Smart Water Leak and Freeze Detector and a Roost Smart Battery to select new and existing policyholders.

CAMICO has licensed Insurity‘s BridgeXPress Suite to replace CAMICO’s core-processing systems with a solution for the entire policy lifecycle. The cloud-hosted suite removes the burden of an on-premise IT infrastructure and limits the associated needs and associated costs for CAMICO.

In collaboration with DashlaneChubb cyber business policyholders in Europe will now receive a complimentary Dashlane Premium license as part of their policy benefits. The partnership is part of Chubb’s cyber services program.

Seguros SURA Colombia, the largest insurer in Colombia, and Guidewire Software Inc. announced that SURA has successfully deployed Guidewire InsuranceSuite, Guidewire Client Data Management, Guidewire Rating Management and Guidewire Reinsurance Management as its new solutions for underwriting, policy administration, claims and more. The company first deployed the solutions for its personal auto line of business and is currently implementing them to 15 other lines of business.

Marine insurer Gard AS has deployed Exact by AdvantageGo, the commercial insurance and reinsurance product family from NIIT Technologies, to help streamline and automate exposure management processes across its business. Gard AS is using Exact to help manage its windstorm exposures across the globe.

Sompo International Holdings Ltd. has entered into a strategic partnership with CropTrak, a provider of technology solutions for the food and agriculture markets. This partnership is an expansion of a strategic relationship that began in 2016 in the U.S. between CropTrak and ARMtech Insurance Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sompo International.

Opta Information Intelligence and Guidewire Software Inc. annonced that Opta has joined Guidewire Partner Connect as a Solution Partner. The companies also announced that Opta’s new Ready for Guidewire validated integration is now available to customers for download in the Guidewire Marketplace.

Donan and Matterport have partnered together to bring Matterport’s all-in-one reality capture system to fire investigations. Every fire investigator across Donan’s national footprint is now equipped with a Matterport camera, and every Donan fire client can experience the benefits of interactive 3D models when adjusting fire losses.
