In the face of a looming talent gap, attracting next-gen talent is a top priority for many insurers.
Last month in Chicago, hundreds of college students pursuing a career in insurance gathered at the 47th annual Gamma Iota Sigma International Conference, networking with industry professionals as they prepare for the beginning of their professional life.
Gamma Iota Sigma is an educational organization and the only international business fraternity for students of insurance, risk management and actuarial science. The association has 75 chapters on college campuses across the country, and boasts an annual membership of more than 4,000 students and an alumni population of over 25,000.
