The California-based insurance platform provider Indio Technologies has teamed with Pacific Interstate Insurance Brokers (PIIB), a cluster of more than 200 independent insurance agencies in nine states, to help PIIB ’s affiliate agencies leverage technology to streamline workflows and drive success. “As we work to equip our affiliate agencies with the tools and resources they need to become more successful,” PIIB Marketing Representative Rachel McClurg said in a press release, “we recognize that the right technology can help them be more efficient and enhance their commercial client relationships.”
The Kentucky-based financial technology provider Computer Services, Inc., has partnered with Segmint, a leading provider of data-driven solutions, to give financial institutions access to analytics that allow them to personalize customer experiences. Segmint’s data analytics and segmentation tools integrate into CSI’s products with the goal of providing a holistic view of the customer. This data is then used to deliver enhanced, targeted services to customers and prospects.
AmeriTrust, a specialty niche-focused, commercial insurance underwriter and insurance administration services company, has selected insurance telematics and scoring developer, The Floow, to partner on a commercial auto telematics solution using smartphone technology as a sensor. The Floow’s smartphone-based telematics platform — FloowDrive — will form the core of AmeriTrust’s new commercial telematics product. The insurer will target commercial lines customers, piloting with Oil & Gas service vehicles, to monitor driving and provide services to their fleet and non-fleet drivers using a smartphone-based app. In addition to the driver app, FloowDrive will provide AmeriTrust with a strong management information portal, showing the scores and behavior of drivers against each policy.
HyreCar Inc., the car-sharing marketplace for ridesharing, recently announced that it has entered into an agreement with Shift Technology. As a result, HyreCar will deploy SHIFT Technology’s ForceTM, an industry proven, AI-driven fraud detection solution to optimize its insurance claims processes and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Based on Shift’s 75% accuracy rate in identifying potentially fraudulent claims, HyreCar anticipates that deploying Force will significantly reduce fraudulent claims within six months.
J.D. Power has announced a global alliance with ClickFox that combines J.D. Power’s consumer research, data analytics and customer experience advisory capabilities with ClickFox’s customer journey analytics platform, which analyzes billions of cross-channel journey interactions at the world’s largest financial services, energy, retail, healthcare and insurance companies. The analysis of customer, patient, employee and device journeys across channels allows organizations to determine actual customer interaction paths. When sources of friction are identified, the best initiatives can be identified and executed to improve the customer experience.
