AXIS Reinsurance, the reinsurance business segment of AXIS Capital Holdings Limited, has appointed William Bennett senior underwriter, property reinsurance at Lloyd’s. He joins AXIS Re from MS Amlin where he was a lead underwriter responsible for operations within the firm’s North American Property Reinsurance team.
Matt Lumelleau has joined EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants‘ property & casualty as a principal. Lumelleau joins EPIC from Lockton where he supported the Houston office as a producer, unit manager and team leader.
American International Group Inc. has announced that Lou Levinson will join the company as head of casualty for Lexington Insurance Company. He joins AIG from Venbrook Group where he was president of specialty services.
Jamie Yoder has been appointed president of Snapsheet, a provider of virtual claims technology for the personal and commercial insurance marketplace. Yoder joins Snapsheet from PriceWaterhouseCoopers where he led the insurance advisory practice for the last eight years.
Chubb has appointed Tim Barziza as head of its North American property claims. Barziza has more than 25 years of insurance industry experience, with a little more than 15 being spent at Chubb. He joined Chubb as an outside claims representative in 2003.
AXA XL has announced the following senior promotions within its excess casualty insurance business:
- Vivienne Moniz - head of excess casualty, Bermuda
- Elaine Scully - head of excess casualty, Dublin
