Tapio Boles and Andy Andy Staudt, two senior consultants at Willis Towers Watsons, will be recognized by the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS), which will induct their pioneering research into the organization’s Reserving Research Hall of Fame (RRHOF). The CAS established the RRHOF to honor and draw attention to important reserving-related papers and research in the field of property & casualty insurance.
Dentists Benefits Insurance Company (DBIC) and Northwest Dentists Insurance Company (NORDIC), acquired by The Dentists Insurance Company (TDIC) in February 2017, plan to merge with their parent company, effective Jan. 1, 2019, upon regulatory approval. As a result of the merger, DBIC and NORDIC will be combined into TDIC and the companies will unite as one operating as TDIC.
Assurant has invested in Mojio, a technology platform and SaaS provider for connected cars. Assurant made the investment through its Assurant Growth Investing venture capital initiative.
EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants has acquired the assets, employees and operations of Vanbridge LLC, a specialty insurance intermediary, program management and risk advisory services business.
