People on the move in the P&C insurance industry: Sept. 14, 2018

Mojgan Lefebvre has joined The Travelers Companies Inc. as executive vice president and chief information officer. Lefebvre most recently served as senior vice president and chief information officer for Liberty Mutual’s global risk solutions business.

Zurich Insurance has appointed Brandon Fick chief underwriting officer for Zurich North America, effective Sept. 17, 2018. He is currently head of casualty for Zurich North America Commercial Insurance.

John Hardin has joined Perkins Coie‘s Insurance Recovery practice as a partner in the Dallas office. He joins Perkins Coie from K&L Gates, where he led the firm’s global real estate litigation group.

Guidewire Software Inc. has appointed Paul Y. Mang general manager of the newly created Guidewire Analytics and Data Services. Yang joins Guidewire from Aon plc where he served as the Global CEO of Analytics.

Neil Isford has been appointed executive vice president, sales & client development for RMS. Most recently, Isford served as worldwide general manager, Watson financial services solutions at IBM.

Aon plc has appointed Jason Wren managing director, eastern growth leader, construction services group in the Boston office. Prior to this role, Wren worked for Aon as a producer and real estate subject matter expert.

Michael A. Garguilo has been hired as regional president of the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions for CBIZ Insurance Services Inc. Prior to joining CBIZ, Garguilo owned insurance agency and broker Garco Financial LLC, serving as president and CEO of its national program management affiliate, which he sold in 2017.

Kraus-Anderson Insurance has hired Lisa Flick as an account executive in the Fargo, North Dakota, office. She most recently served as an account manager with USI Insurance Services.

Cather Duffy will join American International Group Inc.‘s general insurance business as country manager of Bermuda, at a date to be determined. She joins from XL Catlin where she was most recently senior vice president and underwriting manager for XL Bermuda Ltd.

Willis Towers Watson has appointed Denys Kazama senior account executive for its global captive practice. Previously, Kazama was the controller for The Pacific Club.

Geoff Werner has been appointed as Americas’ Country Manager for Octo Telematics. He came to Octo in 2017 via the acquisition of Willis Towers Watson’s insurance telematics assets.

Oak Street Funding has promoted Kirsten Petras to executive director of sales. Petras has worked in the banking and financial services industries since 1994 and has been with Oak Street since 2011.
