HUB International Limited has acquired the assets of Harman Agency LLC. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Program administrator Brownyard Group has launched their revamped website designed to improve user experience and information flow. The new website interfaces provides streamlined access to information for agents, brokers and insureds.

Innovisk Capital Partners has established Vindati, a U.S.-based managing general agency offering specialty products and solutions for brokers serving small- to medium-sized businesses. Vindati’s first products are contractors equipment, builder’s risk and farm/ranchowners packagers, with commercial articles, motor truck cargo and warehouse legal in the queue.

Weather Analytics LLC, a provider of risk analysis for insurance carriers, has announced significant additions to its product suite and will rename the company as “Athenium Analytics.” The product announcement follows Weather Analytics’ acquisition of and merger with Athenium Inc. earlier this year. A new website being launched features the new solutions.

Smart Harbor is enhancing its ‘Smart Digital’ offering by partnering with Infogroup, a provider of data and data-driven marketing solutions. The announcement follows the recent launch of Smart Harbor’s InsurTech web application, Smart Producer.

NI Holdings Inc. has completed its previously announced acquisition of Direct Auto Insurance Company from private shareholders on Aug. 31, 2018. Under the terms of the stock purchase agreement, DIrect Auto shareholders will receive $17 million in cash.

Baldwin Krystyn Sherman Partners, an insurance brokerage and risk management firm headquartered in Tampa, Fla., has partnered with Montoya & Associates. The partnership finalized on Aug. 2, 2018.

SIAA (Strategic Insurance Agency Alliance) has announced a national partnership with Burns & Wilcox, an H.W. Kaufman Group company, effective Oct. 1, 2018. Under the partnership, SIAA member agencies have access to the Burns & Wilcox family of companies.

LexisNexis Risk Solutions has launched its LexisNexis Global Insurance Alliance program. The alliance program includes three types of alliances: Data Delivery, Systems Integrator and Industry Organization.

USI Insurance Services has acquired Wilbraham, Massachusetts-based The Gaudreau Group. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

MS Amlin, a global reinsurer, and Envelop Risk, a global specialty cyber reinsurance analytics and underwriting firm, has launched their underwriting partnership at the reinsurance rendezvous in Monte Carlo. Under the terms of the partnership, Envelop Risk and MS Amlin will underwrite a market leading cyber reinsurance portfolio with MS Amlin AG as capacity provider.

Catastrophe risk modeling firm AIR Worldwide has released a new severe thunderstorm model for Europe. The AIR Severe Thunderstorm Model for Europe captures the effects of straight-line winds and hail, enabling companies to assess their risk from the local scale to the macro level on insured properties, including residential, commercial, automobiles and specialty lines of business in 22 countries.

Von E. Breaux has partnered with D. Michael Sherman, owner of DMS Insurance Holdings LLC, to complete an asset purchase of ANBTX Insurance Services. Breaux will remain as president and the privately held, independent insurance agency will operate as an LLC under its former name, Sleeper Sewell Insurance.
