Spencer awards 12 part-time master's scholarships
Spencer awarded 82 scholarships this year totaling $501,000.
The Spencer Educational Foundation, a non-profit supporting risk management and insurance education, awarded scholarships to 12 industry professionals pursuing master’s degrees part-time.
Each recipient was granted up to $10,000, accounting for a total of $101,100 awarded. Combined with its full-time scholarships, Spencer awarded 82 scholarships this year totaling $501,000. Since its inception, Spencer has given out more than 1,050 scholarships.
“These individuals are taking an important step to further their education,” Tim Meacham, Chair of the Foundation’s Scholarship Committee said in a statement. “Their dedication and commitment to advancing themselves also helps advance the industry as a whole. We would also like to thank our donors, for making the education of tomorrow’s industry leaders possible and accessible.”
