Marsh has reached an agreement to acquire Houston-based Wortham Insurance. Terms of the transaction, which is expected to close in the third quarter of 2018, were not disclosed.
The Travelers Companies Inc. announced that the 2018 Travelers Championship generated $1.8 million for charity. The tournament contributes 100% of its net proceeds to nonprofits throughout the region, and this year’s funding will support approximately 130 organizations.
Alera Group has acquired Menath Insurance. Terms of the transaction were not announced.

The company plans to expand Smart Producer to include additional commercial and personal lines later this year.
Zurich North America has expanded its menu of services for U.S. auto dealers by adding service advisor training resources. Training topics to be presented include: why customers buy, multipoint inspections selling system, creating presentations, and menu selling, among others.
The Agents Council for Technology has launched a new customer experience planning website. This interactive online resource is designed to help agents understand the customer experience lifecycle and leverage technology to achieve the ease of doing business consumers expect.
StrategicClaim announced the acquisition and integration of Harmon Solutions Group (HSG). As part of the transaction, StrategicClaim will partner with HSG sister company CodeBlue to add property management claim resolution services.
