Lessons learned
A new report from Zurich Insurance highlights lessons learned from a dozen global weather events. Among other findings, Zurich's analysis found that corporate risk managers face similar challenges regardless of where they operate or the particular hazards they face. While the 12 post-event review capability (PERC) studies carried out by Zurich focused on flood events holistically, the methodology is applicable to other hazards or focus points and the lessons learned can apply to any organization with an interest in strengthening its disaster risk management approach.
