Chubb is now offering insurance solutions, like the Chubb Small Commercial Marketplace, to cover the unique risks faced by artisan contractors. Coverage options include Chubb Business Owner’s Policy, umbrella, workers’ compensation, commercial auto and more.
The Guarantors, an InsurTech provider for the rental market, launched an innovative series that gives tenants a flexible alternative to meeting security deposit requirements while also reducing landlords’ administrative burden and financial risks. The service, Security Deposit Replacement, replaces the costly security deposit with a much lower one-time fee.
Alera Group has acquired Kaercher INsurance, which includes Kaercher Campbell, Kaercher Insurance Agency and Sundance Insurance. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Risk Strategies, a privately held national insurance brokerage and risk management firm, has acquired Craford Benefit Consultants, a full-service employee consulting and benefits brokerage firm headquartered in San Rafael, Calif. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Subject to regulatory approvals, Plymouth Rock Assurance Corporation has acquired MAPFRE Insurance Company of New York. Additionally, certain Plymouth Rock companies also acquired replacement carrier rights for auto and home insurance business in New Jersey from American Commerce Insurance Company, a MAPFRE company.
Mitchell International, a provider of technology, connectivity and information solutions to the property & casualty insurance and collision repair industries, has completed the acquisition of Medical Consultants Network.
