Though the official start to summer is three days away, summer has unofficially begun for many across the country. For families with young children, balancing fun and safety is a fine line. This June, the National Safety Council is celebrating National Safety Month by sharing ways to reduce preventable injuries and fatalities. The data, pulled from Injury Facts, can help parents know the common dangers to be cognizant of and how to address them.
