Last call! NU's Excellence in Workers' Comp Award open for submissions
Have you nominated your workers' comp program for the NU Excellence in Workers' Compensation Risk Management Awards? Entries close June 25, 2018.
Hard work often goes unrecognized, but that shouldn’t be the case. For those who manage workers’ compensations programs for their companies, the job requires juggling a number of factors — injured workers, the company, the safety of the work environment, and much more.
Many workers’ compensations programs are unique, successful and deserve a platform to showcase just that. With this in mind, National Underwriter Property & Casualty is accepting entries for its Excellence in Workers’ Compensation Risk Management Award program for one more week only. The award recognizes those with outstanding loss control, safety and return-to-work programs and is open to companies of all sizes in all industries.
Profiles: 2017 award winners
To give you an idea of the kinds of organizations that participate in National Underwriter’s award program, here are brief profiles of the 2017 winners:
- Nations Roof: For Nations Roof, a focus on safety training, injury prevention and accountability throughout the organization has led to an award-winning program.
- Farm to Table: Here’s how Butterball turned safety into savings by working with OSHA and investing in new strategies.
- Atlanta Hawk: Learn how a risk manager with a distinguished military career and nearly 40 years’ of work ushered in a culture of safety in Atlanta’s fastest-growing suburb.
