People on the move in the P&C insurance industry: June 1, 2018

H.W. Kaufman Group has appointed Josh Hunegs corporate vice president at its headquarters in Detroit/Farmington Hills, Mich. Prior to joining Kaufman, he served as a director with Wells Fargo.

Lori A. Slezek has joined Insurance Center of New England as chief financial officer. Slezek previously served as director of finance and administration at the Governor’s Prevention Partnership, a private non-profit organization in Wethersfield, C.T.

XS Brokers, an independent insurance underwriting and wholesale brokerage group, has hired Jessica Holzinger assistant vice president. In her new position, Holzinger will create and develop business opportunities with a focus on the Pennsylvania and Mid-Atlantic region.

Mike Hallman will replace Roy Berger as president and CEO for Medjet, a Lloyd’s of London-backed provider, effective July 1. He transitions to the position with Medjet from his role with Rime Management where he has held the position of president for 25 years.

Beecher Carlson Insurance Services LLC has appointed Jeff C. Rhoades vice president. For the last seven years, he has served in a producer role at a Portland-based insurance brokerage.

Marya Propis has been appointed senior vice president – director of distribution and broker partnerships at All Risks Ltd. Prior to joining All Risks, she held successive leadership roles at AIG and Lexington Insurance, including head of broker engagement for AIG’s U.S. commercial group.

MarketScout, the national electronic insurance exchange and managing general agency incubator, has appointed Melanie Pogrebnov vice president of private client solutions. She spent many years on the retail side of the business before switching to her new position.
