Philadelphia Insurance Companies has announced the locations of its remaining tree planting efforts for this year and that it will be continuing its partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation for another year. The company is setting a goal of planting 80,000 trees for the fourth consecutive year.
Lockton‘s St. Louis and Chicago operations will merge, effective May 1. The combined entity, which also includes offices located in Memphis, Milwaukee and Nashville, is now known as Lockton Midwest.
H.W. Kaufman Group has acquired Stonemark Inc. Kaufman will merge its subsidiary, Royal Premium, with Stonemark to form a new organization under the Stonemark brand.
The trustees of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Business Insurance Trust (BIT) and Epic Insurance Brokers & Consultants announced that Greyling Insurance Brokerage & Risk Consulting was selected as the broker and program administrator for the ACEC BIT program. Greyling is a division of EPIC.
Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. announced the acquisition of Bellevue, Washington-based ClearPoint Financial, Inc. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
1251 Capital Group, Inc., a financial services holding company, has acquired a partnership interest in A-G Administrators Inc., a leading sports insurance specialist. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Hiscox announced new coverages for its executive liability insurance policy for U.S. businesses. The Hiscox C-Suite offering focuses on management liability and crime coverage, and policies are available for companies of any size.
The National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA National) released the following announcements:
- Sarah Thibault of HNI Risk Services in Bloombington, Minn., was named 2018 PIA National Customer Service Representative of the Year. The award was presented April 24, 2018, at a ceremony in Arlington, Va.
- Representative Kevin Cramer (R-ND) was named PIA National’s 2018 Legislator of the Year. Cramer was presented with the award during the 2018 PIA Federal Legislative Summit on April 25.
HUB International Limited has acquired the shares of Les Avantages Sociaux Delta Inc., operating as The dElta Group. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Allianz announced it will stop insured coal-fired power plants and coal mines as part of its contribution to combating climate change. The company pledged three years ago to stop investing in companies whose coal activities make up over 30% of their revenue.
InsureSign has partnered with HawkSoft’s agency management system to offer an integrated e-signature service. Agencies using HawkSoft can upload any document from the agency management system to InsureSign for digital signature.
