Munich Reinsurance America Inc. has unveiled its Smart Mobility Program to address issues surrounding commercial auto losses and to help reduce or avoid the risk of collision for commercial fleets. Smart Mobility includes LossDetect, an automated text-mining tool that analyzes automotive claims data and recommends potential solutions.

Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) has partnered with Israel-based drone safety systems company ParaZero. The partnership is scheduled for initial rollout in the U.S. followed by other regions where AGCS insurances unmanned aircraft.

The Travelers Institute, the public policy division of The Travelers Companies Inc., co-hosted a symposium with the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in Boston to explore new approaches to reducing distracted driving-related crashes.
