W.R. Berkley Corporation has appointed John F. Kearns president of Berkley Mid-Atlantic Group. He most recently served as executive vice president, sales & marketing and underwriting, for a major U.S. insurance group.
Mark Moitoso has been appointed to lead Lockton's Risk Practices organization. He joined Lockton in 2016 and most recently led the analytics risk practice.
FM Global appoints Darren J. Benson senior vice president, manager of claims. Previously, he served as vice president and manager of the company's Chemical operations.
Eric Seaborg has been appointed client advocate public entity practice – education for Willis Towers Watson. Seaborg joins from United Educators where he served as senior risk management consultant.
Computer Services Inc., a provider of end-to-end financial technology solutions, has appointed Andras Bende chief financial officer, effective March 19. Bende also will serve as a strategic member of the executive leadership team.
Barbara A. Higgins and Jeanne L. Mockard have been appointed to Employers Holdings Inc.'s board of directors. Higgins currently serves as chief customer officer for Duke Energy Corporation; Mockard is the owner of JLM Capital and Consulting.
RMS has appointed Karen White CEO. Most recently, White held senior executive positions at SolarWinds, Syncplicity and Addepar.
EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants announced the following appointments to its new national practice:
- Maurice (Moe) Edwards - managing principal
- Walter Palmer - practice leader
- Kevin Ach - vice president of risk insurance
- John Schroeder - vice president of asset protection
- Katie Tyrone - vice president of risk financing
