Ryan Specialty Group LLC has reached a definitive agreement to acquire the assets and operations of New Day Underwriting Managers LLC, a specialty intermediary with offices in Hamilton, New Jersey. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

J.S. Held has announced that it will acquire Bracken Engineering, a Florida-based consulting company. The acquisition will benefit clients as they have access to property damage consulting, surety services, construction claims consulting, project and program management, equipment consulting, environmental, health and safety services, and engineering services.

RIMS and the Association for Federal Enterprise Risk Management (AFERM) have entered into an agreement to create a micro- credential for the RIMS-Certified Risk Management Professional (RIMS-CRMP) certification. The two organizations are currently working on a pilot exam that will be completed in the fall of 2018.

Willis Towers Watson has launched Willis Towers Watson Aerospace Cyber Guard, a tailored cyber insurance solution for the general aviation industry. The company introduced the product at the Helicopter Association International's 2018 HAI Heli-Expo in Las Vegas.
