Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired London-based Gatehouse Consulting Limited. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Risk Strategies Company, a privately held, national insurance brokerage and risk management firm,has acquired Delmarva Surety. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Sedgwick Claims Management Services Inc. has signed an agreement to acquire Cunningham Lindsey. The closing of the transaction is subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals.

Koetting Insurance and Resource Agency recently joined Valley Insurance Agency Alliance (VIAA), a cohesive family of over 100 independent insurance agencies in Missouri and Illinois. Koetting Insurance and Resource Agency is a full-service agency founded in 1983 that specializes in commercial, personal auto, and homeowners' insurance.

QBE Insurance Group has announced that QBE Ventures has closed an investment into Cytora, an emerging London-based start-up that uses artificial intelligence and open source data to help commercial insurers. In addition, QBE has entered into a commercial use agreement for the Cytora product. In 2018, the Cytora Risk Engine will be deployed across QBE property and casualty lines.

Brit Ltd has announced that it is relocating its Gibraltar based reinsurer, Brit Insurance (Gibraltar) PCC Limited, to Bermuda. The process is expected to be completed by the end of the year, following which Brit Insurance (Gibraltar) will become Brit Reinsurance (Bermuda) Limited.
