Every day, it seems, there's another story about a data breach, leaked personal information or a cyber threat. Senior management is justifiably concerned, and boards of directors are pushing their IT departments to mitigate risks.

As a result, businesses are developing benchmarks and best practices, and they're requiring employees to adhere to those best practices, too. Risk managers, IT professionals and other stakeholders, are creating successful programs to keep their organizations safe from cyber threats, meeting their critical responsibility. Just one cyber event can wreak havoc with a company's data, compromise customer and employee personal information — and ruin one's business reputation.

That's why we're looking for the best cyber security risk managers in any industry.

The award proudly recognizes those with outstanding risk control programs designed to continually protect an organization's sensitive data against cyber attacks. If you have a unique risk management approach or success story in how to counter cyber exposures, we'd like to hear about it — and so would our readers. Enter your company in the National Underwriter Excellence in Cyber Security Risk Management Award program today!

The honor will be bestowed upon one risk manager/information security lead whose program has displayed effective, notable mitigation techniques that are proven to keep cyber risks at bay.
