Applied Systems recently announced that Chappell, Smith & Associates, Inc. (CS&A) is partnering with Applied for its digital transformation. Applied software will enable CS&A to automate and standardize operations, as well as increase mobility and improve data insights to drive greater business performance. "The digital transformation of our agency will standardize our processes, extend omnichannel servicing and provide insights into our business, enabling us to realize greater operational efficiencies and growth than ever before," CS&A CEO Christopher Turnbull said in a press release.

Insurance Technology Services (ITS), an insurance consulting and services firm specializing in the design, implementation, and utilization of technology across all segments and lines of business, and Guidewire Software, Inc., a provider of software products to Property and Casualty (P&C) insurers, announced on Aug. 15, 2017, that ITS has joined Guidewire PartnerConnect™ as a Consulting alliance member at the Select level. ITS helps complete Guidewire InsuranceNow™ implementations, delivers value-add solution and technology offerings, and provides guidance on industry best practices in support of Guidewire customer success in the Americas.

Insurity, Inc., the provider of core insurance processing and data integration and analytics solutions, has announced that Allstate Business Insurance has expanded its use of Policy Decisions and has gone into production with a newly developed quoting application. "Together with Insurity, we were able to turn an abstract idea into a robust customer-driven solution within a very aggressive schedule," Mike Barton, president of Allstate Business Insurance, said in a press release.

Patriot Technology Solutions, LLC.  announced on Aug. 3, 2017, that two new carriers — including Baldwin & Lyons, Inc., on behalf of its subsidiaries under the brand Protective Insurance — as well as another, unnamed "large property and casualty insurer in the U.S.," have selected its InsurePay pay-as-you-go "billing as a service" to help ease the payment process for its Workers' Compensation policyholders. The additions bring the total to 20 carriers who have adopted the tool to date.
