Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC, the middle-market agency subsidiary of Marsh, has named Bill Jeatran its new president and Christina Mott has been appointed chief operating officer.

As president of MMA, Jeatran, who is based in Minneapolis, will focus on developing and advancing MMA's strategic direction through acquisitions, client engagement, talent development and scaling best practices. Formerly CEO of its upper Midwest region, Jeatran founded RJF Agencies Inc. in 1986 and was CEO until its acquisition by MMA in 2011. He succeeds Ben Allen, who has left the firm.

Based in New York, Mott previously served as innovation leader, Marsh Global Risk & Specialties. As COO, she will be responsible for operational best practices, innovation, technology/digitization initiatives and product development working closely with regional MMA leaders and teams across Marsh & McLennan Companies.

“These appointments further demonstrate MMA's growth and maturity,” David Eslick, MMA's chairman and CEO, said in a statement. “By adding expertise from across the industry, we will further our ability to help our firms meet the increasingly complex needs of their clients.”
