ManchesterStory Group has added Michael O'Halleran as special advisor and chair of the advisory board of the ManchesterStory Venture Fund L.P. O'Halleran recently retired from his position as executive chairman of Aon Benfield.
Anne Kronenberg has been appointed to Kinsale Capital Group Inc.'s board of directors. Kronenberg is currently a member of the board of trustees of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution where she serves as treasurer and co-head of the finance committee.
Kinsale Insurance Co.'s public entity division is now offering public official liability coverage. The product provides for damages and defense costs for wrongful acts alleged against a public entity, an elected or appointed public official, or an employee.
Next Insurance, a Palo Alto, California-based InsurTech startup, announced American Express' venture capital arm has joined its investor group, bringing its investments round to $35 million. Next Insurance raised $29 million in May from investors led by reinsurer Munch Re's HSB Ventures.

Norman-Spencer Agency, Inc., an Ohio-based provider of property and casualty insurance services, has redesigned its crane program to include additional coverages and new rates. The crane program is available in all states excluding Arizona and New York and is on non-admitted paper and is written through Nationwide E&S Specialty, writing General Liability and Excess Coverage.
Bermuda-based Randall & Quilter Investment Holdings Ltd. has reached an agreement to sell capital of its Lloyd's managing agency, R&Q Managing Agency Ltd., to Boston-based medical professional liability insurance provider Coverys. On completion, the agreement involves the cash payment by Coverys to R&Q of $22.6 million, which after costs and related incentive payments, will result in estimated net proceeds to R&Q of £13.9 million (approximately $17.8 million).

Insurance brokerage and consulting firm USI Insurance Services has entered into an agreement to purchase Wells Fargo Insurance Services USA from Wells Fargo & Company. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
