Diane Baker has been appointed Venture Programs regional underwriter for the U.S. south and central region. Before joining Venture, Baker was marketing underwriter for FCCI Insurance in Florida.

Michael Davis has been appointed to Brown & Riding's construction practice group. Davis is rejoining the firm after a brief stint with Aon where he was a vice president in their construction services group.

Workers' compensation specialty insurer The MEMIC Group has promoted Michael P. Bourque president and CEO to replace John T. Leonard, who is retiring later this year. Bourque has worked with MEMIC for nearly 22 years and most recently served under Leonard as senior vice president, external affairs.

Allianz Global Corporate & Speciality announced the following appointments:

South Carolina Insurance Commissioner Raymond G. Farmer has been elected NAIC secretary-treasurer, effective immediately. Farmer recently served as vice president of the American Insurance Association and is a member of many programs, such as the State Bar of Georgia.

Nationwide has appointed Linda Stueber vice president of construction for standard commercial. Stuber joins from Travelers where she was the construction and operations leader in the southern and midwest regions.

FM Global announced the following appointments:

• Michael C. Lebovitz - senior vice president, innovation
• James R. Galloway - senior vice president, manager of AFM
• Derry K. Johnson - senior vice president, manager of sales, with responsibility for new business development

Maggie Seidel has been appointed vice president for public affairs for the American Insurance Association. Prior to joining AIA, Seidel served as a senior public relations and media strategist for the Charles Koch Institute.

JLT Specialty USA has appointed Gabe Levitt executive vice president. Levitt has spent the last 13 years in insurance brokerage and most recently worked with Krauter & Company.

FCCI Insurance Group has announced the following appointments:

• Tiffany Hawkins - regional vice president
• Trey Stone - assistant vice president in the Gulf Coast regional office

Eric Micheals has been promoted to senior vice president, head of emerging solutions for Hiscox USA. Micheals has been with Hiscox USA for eight years and most recently served as senior vice president, Hiscox underwriting center.

Chris Homewood has been promoted to Topa Insurance Group's chief underwriting officer. Homewood previously served as senior vice president of commercial auto underwriting.

Michael M. Wong has been named USI Insurance Services's employee benefits practice leader for the Toledo, Ohio office. Prior to joining USI, Wong was with Savage & Associates as an employee benefit consultant for 15 years.
