GMC Software (GMC) has expanded its Partners & Alliance Program to include the GMC Software Partner Advantage Program, which will accommodate delivery partners, business partners, alliance partners and ISV/technology partners within an organization.

Catastrophe modeling firm AIR Worldwide has released a cyber risk modeling application for the insurance and reinsurance markets called Analytics of Risk from Cyber (ARC). The application can evaluate any commercial policy, measure and monitor aggregations of cyber risk within a portfolio and estimate potential insured cyber losses for portfolios.
Insurance technology company Vertafore has acquired business intelligence and analytics company RiskMatch. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Liberty Mutual has released a suite of three excess liability endorsements:
- Following Form including Paid Partial Loss Settlement;
- Business Continuity; and
- Crisis Management.
Multinational property, casualty and specialty insurer Generali Global Corporate & Commercial's U.S. branch has opened offices in Chicago and San Francisco. Additionally, the U.S. branch has introduced an alternative commercial risk insurance program called Praetorian.
Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Workers' Compensation outsourcing services company Patriot National Inc. has made the following appointments to its board of directors:
- Terry L. Coleman – former speaker of the house for the state of Georgia
- Glenn Hibler – co-founder of Traffik
Homeowners insurance company Florida Peninsula Insurance Company is now offering online homeowners insurance quotes.
Innovative Coverage Concepts has launched commercial umbrella insurance for the restaurant and hospitality industries, specifically upscale fine dining, casual dining establishments, and upscale on-premises catering facilities. Limits of up to $25 million dollars aggregated per location will be offered.
Employers Holdings Inc. has appointed Michael J. McColgan to its board of directors, effective July 1, 2017. McColgan will retire as a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
The Certified Automotive Parts Association has a new animated whiteboard video that explains the four basic part choices consumers have when their vehicles undergo an insurance-based repair:
- a new car company branded part;
- a CAPA Certified independently produced part;
- a non-CAPA certified part;
- and a recycled part.
