AIG has promoted Robert Scheinerman to president, group retirement. Scheinerman previously served as president, individual retirement, and will be based out of the Houston headquarters.

AIG has also appointed Todd Solash president, individual retirement. Solash joins from AXA Equitable where he served as senior executive director, and will be based out of the California office.

Neon has appointed Nick Pritchard head of property reinsurance. Pritchard joins Neon from Bermuda-based AlphaCat.

Philadelphia-based property and casualty and professional insurance company Philadelphia Insurance Companies announced the following promotions to its marketing, compliance and claims departments:

  • Yvonne Burgess - vice president of marketing
  • Michael Ricca - vice president of marketing
  • Chris Rosecrans - vice president of marketing
  • John Preston - vice president of compliance
  • Irene Varga - vice president of claims

Scott G. Grubin has been appointed a partner at Barton LLP's employment practice. Grubin joins from Wigdor LLP where he has provided counsel.

JLT Specialty USA has appointed Jim White senior vice president. White joins from Willis Tower Watson where he was responsible for the development of their marine insurance business.

Jonathan Dixon has been appointed secretary general at the International Association of Insurance Supervisors. Dixon joins from the Financial Services Board in South Africa where he has been the deputy executive officer.

Michael O'Neill has been appointed consultant at independent insurance broker Lockton Cos. O'Neill joins from O'Neill Paragon Solutions where he has been the chief executive officer.

The Main Street America Group has promoted Anne Bastian to national account executive, a newly establish role within the company's field operations division. Bastian previously served as field marketing representative.

Virginia-based specialty insurance company Kinsale Capital Group announced the following promotions:

  • Benjamin F. Pully - senior vice president
  • Clayton W. Rhoades - senior vice president

Scot Housh has been promoted to regional lead of corporate risk and broking for Willis Tower Watson. Housh previously served as the market leader for Minneapolis and St. Paul.

USI Insurance Services announced the following appointments to the Ohio-based USI Independence office:

  • Tammi Barker - employee benefits practice
  • Bridget Day - employee benefits practice
  • Dave Petno - employee benefits practice
