Reno, Nevada-based Employers Holdings Inc. said it has expanded its workers' compensation underwriting practice to Connecticut, Massachusetts, Nebraska and New York. The company now underwrites workers' comp for small businesses in 36 states and the District of Columbia.
Alexandria, Virginia-based insurance industry educational program InVEST said it has appointed Neil Lenane to its national board as an agent member. He remains business leader for talent acquisition at Progressive Insurance.
Chicago-based insurance brokerage Hub International Ltd. said that it has acquired certain assets of Southborough, Massachusetts-based Pinnacle Financial Group and Pinnacle Insurance Agency. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
