Valhalla, New York-based insurance brokerage and consulting company USI Insurance Services said it has acquired Atlanta-based brokerage Johnson & Bryan. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Minneapolis-based Insurance Marketing & Communications Association said it will hold a webcast called "Marketers and Communicators Play Key Role in Insurance Fraud Prevention Awareness," at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 22. This one-hour program is to be presented by Tom Donahue, executive director of the Pennsylvania Insurance Fraud Prevention Authority. The webcast is free for members and $49.95 for everyone else. Boston-based catastrophic risk management consulting and modeling company Karen Clark & Co. said it has released its RiskInsight Version 4.4, an update which includes enhancements to the custom model building capabilities and client integration modules, and performance optimization.
