Depending on where you live, craft beer has overtaken fine wine as the adult beverage of choice.
And the number of breweries and brewpubs in operation in the United States has reached new levels, according to research from New York City-based financial data company Smartasset.
Most craft brewers are small, independent businesses, according to the Boulder, Colorado-based Brewers Association, with all the insurance needs of a small business, which may present opportunities for insurance agents.
