Alpharetta, Georgia-based LexisNexis Risk Solutions said it is acquiring the crash and project business group of Louisville, Kentucky-based Appriss. Terms were not disclosed. 

Hoffman Estates, Illinois-based nonprofit Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair, known as I-CAR, said it has developed a tool, called the Value of Training calculator, to help repair shop owner measure the results of technician training.

Carlsbad, California-based auto claims technology company ACD said it has entered an agreement with Insurance Auto Auctions Inc. to integrate total loss claims data between the two companies.
